Salons and studios
Salon website design that helps people book with confidence
Good salon website design feels like walking into your salon: calm, polished and clearly cared for. I work in SEO, not just design, so I plan your treatment pages around the searches that bring in new clients rather than hoping Instagram does all the work. The elegant, affordable site I build connects your booking system properly and adds the reviews, team and policies that turn a scroll into a confirmed appointment.

Taste is the product
Salon clients judge your skill by how your website looks.
It is not fair, but it is real. If your website looks dated or cluttered, a new client quietly assumes your salon is too. If it feels calm and considered, they expect the same care in the chair.
That is why salon websites need more design attention than most. Typography, spacing, photography and colour all say something about your taste before a single word gets read.
I design salon websites the way a good salon is designed: a clear layout, beautiful light and nothing unnecessary. Then I make sure the practical parts, the prices, the booking button and the policies, are easy to find without spoiling the mood.
The result looks polished enough to stand next to your Instagram, and works hard enough to fill quiet days.
What clients look for
The salon website essentials
Before a new client books, they are checking a handful of things. These are the sections I build every salon site around.
A treatment menu, not a PDF
Prices, durations and short descriptions, grouped sensibly. Readable on a phone without pinching and zooming, and easy for you to update.
A booking button that never hides
Linked straight to your booking system, and where possible to the right treatment. In the header, on every treatment and at the end of every page.
Your team
Faces, names, specialisms and personality. Many clients choose a stylist or therapist before they choose a treatment.
Real work
A gallery of your own results, organised by treatment. Linked to Instagram, but not dependent on it.
The small print, kindly written
Patch tests, deposits, cancellations and lateness. Clear policies prevent awkward conversations and no-shows.
Reviews and gift vouchers
Reviews for confidence, vouchers for extra income, especially before Christmas and Mother's Day.
Instagram and your website
Instagram attracts. Your website converts.
Most salons live on Instagram, and they should. It is where people fall in love with your work. But Instagram is poor at the practical bit. Nobody wants to scroll through two years of posts to find your prices or dig through highlights for parking information.
Your website should be the calm, organised place your bio link points to. It answers every question once, clearly, and sends people straight to booking. It also does something Instagram cannot: it ranks on Google for searches like "brow lamination Brighton" or "balayage near me".
I design the link-in-bio journey carefully, so someone tapping through from a post lands somewhere that feels like a natural continuation, not a jarring switch. For salons where most bookings happen online, I have written a separate page on beauty salon booking websites.
Getting found for treatments
People search for the treatment, not the salon.
A new client rarely searches for "salon". They search for "lash lift near me", "balayage Brighton" or "Russian manicure". Each of your key treatments deserves its own page, with a title and description built around the way people search for it.
Combine that with a complete Google Business Profile, reviews that mention treatments, and a fast, mobile-first website, and you give yourself a real chance at those local searches. It is the SEO-ready structure I build into every site.

Do I still need a website if clients book through Instagram?
Instagram is brilliant for showing work, but it is poor at answering questions. Prices, parking, patch test rules and cancellation policies get lost in DMs. A website holds all of that in one place, ranks on Google for treatment searches and hands people straight to your booking system.
Can you connect my booking system?
Yes. Whether you use Fresha, Treatwell, Phorest, Timely, Booksy or something else, I link or embed it so the booking button always opens the right place, ideally on the right treatment.
Should I show prices on my salon website?
Almost always. "From" prices are fine for services that vary by hair length or stylist level. Hidden prices make people nervous and send them to a salon that is more open.
How do I make my salon website look as good as the salon?
By treating the website like part of the interior. I match your colours, lighting and mood, use your own photos where possible, and give them room to breathe. Cheap-looking salon sites usually cram too much in.
What does a salon website cost?
From £590 for a single-page Starter Website, £1,250 for a Business Website with separate treatment pages, and £1,750 for Website + Visibility with local SEO. Every price is fixed after a free call.
