Fresha, Treatwell, Phorest, Timely, Booksy, Square Appointments, Setmore: they all handle the diary side well. What they do not do is explain your treatments beautifully, rank on Google or reassure a nervous first-timer. That is the website's job.
If you have not chosen a system yet, I can talk you through the trade-offs, such as commission on new clients, deposit handling and Google integration. I do not take commission from any of them, so my advice stays neutral.

Do you build your own booking system?
No, and I would advise against anyone building one from scratch for a salon. Established systems like Fresha, Treatwell, Phorest, Timely, Booksy or Square Appointments handle availability, reminders, deposits and payments far better. I design the website around the one you use, or help you choose one.
Should the booking system be embedded or open in a new page?
It depends on the system. Some embed smoothly; others work better as a full-screen page. I test both on a phone and choose whichever gives the fewest taps and the least confusion.
Can clients book from my Google listing?
Several booking systems can connect to your Google Business Profile so people book straight from your listing. I show you whether yours can and link everything together so the details match.
How do I reduce no-shows?
Clear deposit rules shown before booking, automatic reminders from your booking system, and a friendly cancellation policy that people actually read. The website is where those rules first appear, so I make them impossible to miss without being unfriendly.
